The Story

This is the story of 4 very normal people with different backgrounds and stories but the same love for the Ocean and a common dream. We grew up in the 80’s close to the Mediterranean coasts, with an intense desire to ride the big waves, inspired by the famous movie
“The Big Wednesday“.
So, in the mid 80’ we became among the first riders in Italy practicing windsurf, importing Customed boards from France.
Italy was discovering the real “Ocean World”.

The Founders

The dreaming and sparkling personality of JC, his passion for the “Water”, prompted us to start this adventure, that we named Oceanwish.
Andy, the Marine Biologist, and passionate photographer gave the project a scientific basis to find the perfect match between Ecology, Environmental Health, and Sustainability.
Chiara and Cecilia joined the project with passion and dedication, sharing a different professional background.
Chiara, a passionate marketeer of global international Companies is supporting the 360° project strategy.
Cecilia, with her deep love for books and literature, is giving the voice to our ocean stories.

Here we are!

From the enchanting Ile d’Oléron, sandy coast of Southern France, where our authentic concept was born, we are expanding our love for the ocean to create a “Universe” which keeps together all the Ocean lovers.
