This is the story of 4 very normal people with different backgrounds and stories but the same love for the Ocean and a common dream. We grew up in the 80’s close to the Mediterranean coasts, with an intense desire to ride the big waves, inspired by the famous movie
“The Big Wednesday“.
So, in the mid 80’ we became among the first riders in Italy practicing windsurf, importing Customed boards from France.
Italy was discovering the real “Ocean World”.

The dreaming and sparkling personality of JC, his passion for the “Water”, prompted us to start this adventure, that we named Oceanwish.
Andy, the Marine Biologist, and passionate photographer gave the project a scientific basis to find the perfect match between Ecology, Environmental Health, and Sustainability.
Chiara and Cecilia joined the project with passion and dedication, sharing a different professional background.
Chiara, a passionate marketeer of global international Companies is supporting the 360° project strategy.
Cecilia, with her deep love for books and literature, is giving the voice to our ocean stories.

Basically, Oceanwish is an International multi-languages News Portal to Share Information Updates and tips about the Big Blue.

The portal is currently divided into two logical sections: one where we collect from the web articles, news, social posts, and as much information as we can find;
another where we host the “testimonials” artisans, artists, small businesses (stores, surfing and sailing schools, and more) who embody the Oceanic spirit and who have dedicated their lives to the ocean, who carry out their work and activities with a view to safeguarding and respecting the ocean and the environment closely related to it.
Among the testimonials, we also host the research institutes that stand out most in the study of the marine medium, aquatic fauna and flora and that with their studies contribute to the protection of the environment.
In this section, each page is expressly dedicated to each of the testimonials.
